You've probably seen the popular TV show Overhaulin', featuring the design talents of Chip Foose, where they turn old cars into refurbished works of automotive art. Well, here at Bosco's Garage, we do a lot of the same kind of work -- we take old (and sometimes not so old) scale models and transform them into miniature masterpieces. On this page, we feature some of the models we've overhauled -- some are completely transformed, while others are mildly tweaked to better fulfill their owners' vision of how the model should have looked in the first place.

| Ford GT40 Mk IV | ||||
| This may look like a simple, straightforward repaint, but looks can be deceiving. Our client asked us to take Exoto's 1/18th scale GT40 Mk IV and dress it in a menacing black coat. No problem -- except for the fact that this one's a bear to repaint with it's multi-piece body, complex opening panels, and tons of raised rivet detail. All of these things conspire to make this project a lot more difficult than it looks. But we love a challenge....... | ||||

| Tom Daniels Tijuana Taxi | ||||
| Any car nut worth his salt has heard of Tom Daniel, who was responsible for so many popular model car kits from the '60s and '70s, like the Red Baron and S'Cool Bus. One of his most famous creations was the Tijuana Taxi, and nowadays, these models sell for top dollar on eBay whether they're built or not, because the kit has never been reissued. Our client was able to find one that was unpainted and poorly built, but it was complete. And because of the expense, there was only one team of modelers he would trust with the task of rebuilding this important memory from his childhood. | ||||
